Hopefully this is the game that can bring Patches out of it and can catapult his season.

I didn't like the Tatar trade to acquire him, I definitely didn't like that they shipped him out so quickly and with the way he's playing now this is looking like an absolute dud of a deal.

Yes, it will take some time to see how Pacioretty adjusts to Vegas, but the Tatar precedent is not an encouraging one. Fingers crossed for Patches' talent to shine through. He is a very gifted player.

Honestly? That says the main frustration with Patches when he was with the Habs... So very gifted, but prone to disappearing for stretches that got longer and longer as the seasons went on. I hope he snaps out of it, too.

Really? Outside of last year, a poop year for the entire team, Pacioretty has been pretty consistent in his career. Does he score in bunches? yes but "prone to disappearing for stretches that got longer and longer as the seasons went on." isn't true.
